1. Langa Mbonambi
Langa Mbonambi is the founder and director of We Will Worship, a ministry dedicated to discipling young people to worship YHWH wholeheartedly. A pioneer of contemporary gospel music in Africa, his song “Come Holy Spirit (Uthando)” became the first locally written song to reach the CCLI top 10. Based in Johannesburg, Langa pastors a house church community and hosts songwriting sessions to help churches share their unique stories through music. He assists in developing songs from ideas to production on digital platforms. Langa is married to Unathi, and they have five children: Kumkanikazi, Hubolodumo, Holizizwe, Inalinathi, and Amilaqhama.
2. Idalette Müller
Idalette Müller has over 15 years of experience in counselling, specializing in trauma for the last 7 years. She was a subject matter expert in the Paraklesis counselling model and led counselling courses at SATS from 2021-2022, where she is currently completing her MDiv. Idalette works with survivors of human trafficking and often speaks on the topic. She writes for ‘Wedding Hub and Lifestyle Magazine’ and has published blog articles on her experiences with marginalized women. Additionally, she holds a BMusEd and an honours degree in educational psychology, and has released a music CD, Voice of Freedom. Idalette is married to Andrew and they have three adult children.
3. Jay Mannie
Dr. Mannie, 65, recently retired as CEO of McCord Hospital after 36 years but continues to work as a sessional anaesthetist at King Dinuzulu Hospital in Durban. Married for 41 years, he has two sons and five grandsons. Active in the Reformed Church of Africa (EMMANUEL) in Sydenham, he serves as an elder, worship leader, bass guitarist, and vocalist. Dr. Mannie also conducts motivational workshops, presents marriage seminars, and provides counseling for families and young people. His passion for God and life is reflected in his motto, L-CUBED, which is also the name of his two-man band.
4. Hugh Goosen
Hugh has over 25 years of experience leading worship in multiple denominational settings. He also spent the first 15 years of his adult working life as a professional secular musician, ‘singing his way through seminary.’ He completed all his theological training with SATS, including a PhD, with a focus in Pneumatology. He is a fully accredited minister with the Baptist Union of Southern Africa and currently serves as the SATS Ambassador.
