Biblical Greek 2B

This course moves from beginning to intermediate Greek and from theory to practice You will begin putting the pieces together to study selected passages from the NT, while deepening your understanding of Greek grammar and syntax. By the end of this course you should be able to:

• Translate passages from the Greek New Testament into English and provide notes to explain alternatives and motivate choices.
• Identify morphological, textual, lexical, grammatical, or theological difficulties in the Greek text of New Testament pericopes.
• Propose and evaluate possible solutions to difficulties in interpreting or translating the Greek text of New Testament pericopes.
