2027 SATS PhD Scholarship and Internship

SATS is proud to announce the 2027 full PhD scholarship and research internship for emerging South African theologians interested in Theology and Praxis in Pastoral Care and Christian Counselling. The opportunity includes a fully paid PhD scholarship, as well as experience in research assistance. SATS is inviting proposals that integrate biblical and theological understandings of transformation with practical expressions in pastoral care and Christian counselling in the African context.

“…forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead” (Philippians 3:13, NIV).

Spring brings renewed energy and vision. Mental health insight encourages intentional goal-setting without pressure. Paul’s forward focus was purposeful, not perfectionistic. This month, gently reassess priorities. Let go of past regrets that drain emotional energy, and orient yourself toward what gives life. Progress is healthiest when guided by grace rather than urgency. God invites you forward—not hurried, but hopeful.
