Mrs Judi Merrifield

Judi was raised in Pennsylvania, New York, and North Carolina, married Scott in 1988. They have three children, three grandchildren, and another on the way.She studied linguistics and Asian studies at Cornell (BA) and completed an MA in applied linguistics at Dallas International University, with further training through several Bible translation institutes.She joined Wycliffe Bible Translators at 23, serving in Indonesia and later another Asian country, where she worked on language development and translation. Since 1999 she has advised the Elani translation team, which has completed the New Testament and most of the Old Testament. She has been a consultant since 2008 and a senior international consultant since 2022.
