Term 3 is Here! New Resources and a Special Offer
SATS 25th Anniversary Discounts
June marked the 25th anniversary of the South African Theological Seminary, and we want to use this milestone as an opportunity to reflect on God’s grace and faithfulness to us and our students. Over the coming months, keep your eyes peeled for the various anniversary celebration initiatives from SATS, as we release them on our website, our social media accounts and in our newsletters.
We are happy to announce the first of these initiatives in this newsletter: a 25th Anniversary Special Discount that will run from 1st July to 31st December 2021. SATS is offering two special discounts:
25% Off Enrolment Invoice
New applicants who have paid their application fee, have been accepted, and decide to enrol for a program, will receive a 25% discount on their enrolment invoice.
25% Off First Invoice of Next Programme
This discount is for graduates who decide to study further, or those who are finishing a program and commit to the next one, between 1st July and 31st December 2021. These students will receive a 25% discount on their first invoice for the new programme.
Terms and Conditions: For new applicants enrolling for the first time, the special anniversary discount applies to the enrolment fee and the compulsory orientation subjects only (THE1120, GEN4121, and MRS5240). For existing students enrolling for a new programme, the discount can apply to multiple courses (maximum 4), provided the courses all appear on the 1st invoice into the programme. If you meet the criteria for either of these discounts, and the invoice is issued in the above timeframe, the discounts will be automatically applied. Invoices must be paid by the 31st of December 2021 for the discounts to apply. The special anniversary discount will override all other discounts, including bulk purchase discounts and partnership discounts.
The latest edition of SATS’s free online scholarly research journal, Conspectus 31, is available on our website. In Conspectus 31 we introduce a complete redesign of the journal and we are excited to see her dressed in her new clothes!
In another first on our 25th Anniversary, we are excited to present the first SATS PhD Compendium. This publication is a collection of thesis summaries from all the PhD candidates who graduated in the previous year. Compendium Volume 1 has proved to be a bumper issue, showcasing the work of 22 doctoral graduates.
