New Programme: Master’s in Theology by Coursework
SATS is pleased to introduce the MTh Coursework. The first specialisation we introduce, starting on 1 February 2026, focuses on the New Testament. Additional specialisations will be launched in subsequent semesters.
The MTh Coursework (NT) is a structured research programme, meaning that students complete a selection of courses combined with a research project. Our objective is to produce graduates who are masters of the Greek New Testament, handling it from a contextual and Christocentric perspective with high-level excellence.

Counsellor’s Corner: Peace in a Chaotic World.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” – Isaiah 26:3
In the midst of life’s chaos, God offers us a peace that surpasses understanding. Take time to quiet your heart, meditate on His Word, and trust in His promises. His peace is always available, no matter the storm.
If you feel called to minister to others through lay-counselling or professional Christian counselling, we are here to walk with you on that journey. Supporting you in answering the calling in your life, is ours.
Announcements:
We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Master of Theology (Christian Counselling) programme, starting 1 August 2026.
This course-based master’s is designed for those passionate about integrating faith, psychological insight, and therapeutic excellence. You will:
• Explore vital themes like ethics, opening a professional practice, psychopathology, and neurotheology through a Christian lens
• Gain specialised training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and its application in Christian counselling
• Learn how to craft a professional, publishable academic article, equipping you for research and contribution to the field.
Whether you’re a counsellor, ministry leader, or mental health practitioner, this program will deepen your impact and expand your skills with both academic rigour and spiritual depth. There are bridging requirements if you have not done theology and/or counselling in your previous studies. You will see the relevant information on the SATS website from the 10th of November, 2025.
