Children & Youth Focus 2026

On Friday, 12 June 2026 at 14:00 CAT, in recognition of Children and Youth Month, we will focus on children and their importance in the church. Look forward to hearing from Pastor Nkosana Rachel Ntuli, Reverend Mafasa Nyama Ratsoma, Pastor Tony Mashao Seaka, Richard Lundie, and Apostle Vusi Fele as they discuss “Why Should the Church Bother with Babies?”

SATS

June takes on a Children and Youth Focus at the SATS Symposium. This year, we are exploring a profoundly important question: Why should the Church Bother with Babies? Our aim is to raise awareness of the biblical motivation for reaching and caring for families with young children, while also sharing practical ideas that churches can begin to implement right away. We have arranged an interview with a strong and diverse panel of leaders who are actively serving in South African communities to highlight the critical importance of the first thousand days for a child’s development, the clear biblical call to care for the youngest and most vulnerable, the real challenges families face in our South African context, and—most importantly—how local churches are uniquely positioned to support these families with practical, loving actions. Iti s our desire that every church leader and member who attends will feel both inspired and equipped to become more nurturing and First Thousand Days-friendly in their own congregations.
