About this course
This course considers the theories and theorists that have influenced the field of psychology, and thus Christian counselling.
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Describe specific theories and models of praxis.
- Explain the underlying theories and theorists that inform the model/theory from an evangelical theological perspective.
- Defend the elements of models/theories that align with a Christian worldview that may be included in a Christian counselling approach.
- Explain which elements of models/theories that do not align with the Christian worldview should not be included in a Christian counselling praxis.
You will be required to purchase the following textbook in order to complete all counselling courses:
