The Doctrine of the Kingdom

What did Jesus preach and teach about? Essentially, one thing and one thing only— the Kingdom of God! The entire ministry of Jesus focused on the gospel of the kingdom. So what is the kingdom of God? If you ask ten Christians, you will be fortunate to find one who can give a Biblical answer. Eight will look puzzled and the other two will give some peculiar explanation.  If the kingdom of God was at the heart of Jesus’ ministry, surely it should be at the heart of ours too. The purpose of this course is to help you develop a clear picture of what the kingdom of God is, how we live in it, and what the end-time entail.. By the end of this course you should be able to:

• Describe the kingdom of God and evaluate its implications for ministry.
• Evaluate Satan’s present rights and status.
• Explain the dynamics of extending the kingdom of God in our time.
• Evaluate the main categories of end-time doctrine.
