Purpose and Importance

Everyone uses PowerPoint, but not many use it effectively. Whether it is in the academic, business, or ministry sphere, you likely give presentations. The problem is that most people have been inoculated by a barrage of bad presentations. This is also an opportunity—it does not take much to stand out from the crowd. By the end of this short course about How to Use PowerPoint Effectively, you will have the tools to stand above the mass of mediocre presenters.

Course Outcomes  

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

1- speak so that others listen instead of sleeping,

2- use PowerPoint like a pro instead of a pleb, and

3- build crisp, clean slides that make your message meaningful and memorable.

Learning Activities

This course consists of just three learning activities. All three are interactive lectures that end with short quizzes. You must complete all three lecturers and pass the quizzes. It should take 2–3 hours to finish all the lessons.

Completion Criteria

To complete the course, you simply need to complete all three lecturers and pass the built-in quizzes. If you do not pass them first time, you can repeat the lesson and retake the quiz.
