About this course
In this short course, Dr Christopher Peppler introduces the Christocentric Principle, a method of interpreting the Bible from a Jesus perspective that he has used effectively through his ministry and academic careers.
Learning Objectives
Define Jesus-centred Bible interpretation.
List and explain six benefits of a Christ-centred approach to interpreting the Bible.
Paraphrase the biblical case for a Jesus-centred approach to Bible study.
Recognise how the Christocentric principle works in combination with other principles of interpretation.
Recognise how the Christocentric principle can help to answer complex biblical and theological questions.
