About this course

This course equips lay, pastoral, and Christian counsellors to develop deeper theological insight into trauma and its implications for meaningful living, growth, and flourishing in Christ. Building on Trauma-Informed Christian Counselling I, students will apply counselling skills contextually to support traumatized individuals and groups—such as sexually abused women, survivors of intimate partner violence, traumatized children, and adolescents. Integrating sound theological perspectives on healing with practical counselling approaches, the course enables counsellors to minister compassionately and effectively in trauma-affected contexts, fostering restoration, spiritual renewal, and Christ-centred wholeness within diverse communities.
