This course title precipitates questions such as: What is African Theology? Is it different from Western or Christian Theology? Students of the Bible and Christian leaders in Africa should grapple with these questions as they inform the way theology is conducted on the continent. understanding the religious schema of African Traditional Religion is imperative not only to comprehend the dynamics of this belief system but also to engage in the discussion on African Theology. Hence African Traditional Religion forms a vital aspect of this course. Another key issue is Christianity. Since this is a Christian theological course, Christianity and ATR are explored concurrently. By the end of this course you should be able to:
